| Hotel
owners in South Australia are predicting conflict
over a plan by the Hotels Association to tackle
problem gambling. The Hotels Association plan
would see up to seven counsellors working in hotels
across the state to identify and assist problem
gamblers. Peter Hurley, the president of the association,
predicts conflict because there is no agreed definition
of what a problem gambler is.
