| Procedure
of Play
|
| The
object of Caribbean Poker is to beat the dealer's five
card poker hand. Players winnings are determined by beating
the dealer's hand and by the poker hand the player has.
The better the poker hand, the better the player's win
would be. |
| |
| The
player starts by placing the ante bet in the appropriate
betting area. This ante must meet the table minimums and
maximums. Once the player has done this the player is
dealt 5 cards, face up and the dealer is dealt four cards
face down with the fifth card dealt face up. |
| |
| At
this point the player decides whether or not raise or
fold. If the player folds, the player loses the ante and
a new round begins. If the player raises, the player doubles
his or her bet and the dealer's cards are revealed. The
dealer must qualify with at least an Ace/King combination.
If the dealer fails to qualify the player automatically
wins the ante bet but the raise portion of the bet is
considered a push and is given back to the player. |
| |
| If
the dealer qualifies, the player's hand is compared to
the dealer's hand. If the player's hand wins then the
player is paid out according to the payout chart which
can be viewed by clicking on the "View Payouts"
button. If the player's hand loses then all bets, the
ante and the raise, are lost and a new round begins. |
| |
|
| |
| Progessive
Jackpot |
| There
is a side bet available to the player that is played outside
of the dealer's hand. Regardless of what the dealer's
hand is or whether or not the dealer qualifies, the player
is still has a chance of winning based on the value of
the player's hand. The player is required to have a minimum
of a flush to win. This bet is made by clicking on the
On/Off button to the right of the progessive jackpot meter.
If the button displays "On" then the player
will be participating in progressive wager for each hand.
If the button displays "Off" then the player
will not be eligible for progressive jackpot wins. The
progressive jackpot side bet costs $1.00 per hand. |
